City of Shelter
Video-Based Training Materials for
Domestic Violence Intervention
The City of Shelter series was produced in 2001, but it continues to be a mainstay for domestic violence intervention training.

City of Shelter is an inspiring, video-based program designed to foster a coordinated community approach to reduce domestic violence. The videos are woven from dramatic documentary footage and interviews with victims, perpetrators, and leading professionals in the field of domestic violence intervention.

Two versions are available: an 8-hour, 11-part series intended for professionals and a 2-hour program that is appropriate for general audiences, including high school students. Both versions include a Workbook/Facilitator's Guide that provides thought-provoking exercises, discussion starters, and suggestions for facilitators.

Pricing: 8 hour version on DVD (includes shipping) $300
2 hour version on DVD (includes shipping) $100
